Aurangabad, July 18:

“Number of Cybercrimes against women who already face many problems are increasing,” said Supriya Sule.

She was speaking in an online lecture on ‘Reformist Maharashtra’ organised on Sunday morning by Samvad Foundation.

Supriya Sule said that all should come together to stop online crimes against women.

“Yashaswini’ project is implemented through Yashwantrao Chavan Pratisthan to reduce crime against women. There is a need to enhance participation of women in it,” she said.

Sule said that there was a need for wider discussions on agriculture laws in Parliament, but it did not happen.

When she was asked about seeing her as the first women Chief Minister of the State, she replied that the post of CM has a different legacy, it would be good to see from a gender point of view.

A question about the education field was asked her, she said that the State and Central Governments should handle education with more responsibility as it is a serious one.

Foundation president Dr Rajesh Karpe made an introductory speech. Dr Ganesh Mohite conducted the proceedings while Dr Hansraj Jadhav proposed a vote of thanks.

Dr Narendra Kale, NCP spokesman Nilesh Raut, Principal Dr Shivaji Madan, Principal Dr Ashok Tejankar, dean Dr Chetna Sonkamble and others were present.
