Danve questions frequent power cuts despite bill payments

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader MLC Ambadas Danve questioned maharashtra state electricity distribution company limited (MSEDCL) officials over frequent power outages and load shedding despite heavy government spending on uninterrupted electricity supply. During a review meeting on Saturday, Danve alleged that contractor agencies fail to complete works on time despite advance payments, while substandard work and negligence are causing inconvenience to farmers and citizens. He highlighted frequent transformer failures, low-voltage issues in rural areas, repeated city power cuts, and delays in solar pump connections. Danve warned of a strong Shiv Sena agitation if strict action is not taken against negligent officials and inactive agencies.
