Different probe reports to be tabled in MC meeting of BAMU today for discussions

Aurangabad, Dec 16:

The administration of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu) will table various enquiry reports in Management Council meeting to be held on December 17.

A total of 26 subjects which related to the extension of divisions, increase subjects and courses are on the agenda will be put in the meeting for the discussions. A decision to hand over the complaints received against statutory officers to Justice (retd) P R Bora would be taken in the meeting.

Vice-chancellor Dr Pramod Yeole will chair the meeting. The complaints received against registrar Dr Jaishree Suryavanshi, director of Board of Examinations and Evaluation Dr Yogesh Patil would be sent to one member probe committee.

The enquiry is being through P R Bora. The report of a committee led by Sanjay Nimbalkar about the appointment of daily wage and contractual employees will be discussed. Many agitations were held demanding fixed pay for the employees.

The university decided to withdraw a research guide from teachers if their colleges don’t have a research centre and postgraduate course. Authorities and Board members have opposed the decision.

The third committee which completed the probe will submit the report about allotting Ph D guide to colleges teachers. Dr Rajesh Karpe, one of the committee members, demanded to cancel the decision about research guide while another member Rahul Mhaske termed the decision of the administration as right. A panel led by Dr Fulchand Salampure completed an enquiry about swimming pool, and its report will be kept in the meeting for the discussions.
