A dispute over dancing during a procession escalated into violence, leaving a tent decorator seriously injured. The incident occurred at around 11.30 pm on April 14 in Ambikanagar.

Ravi Jadhav (21, Ambikanagar, Mukundwadi), was allegedly assaulted by four persons. He was stabbed under the arm, resulting in a deep wound that required ten stitches. A case has been registered at Mukundwadi police station against Riyan Pathan and his two associates in connection with the attack. In a related development, Varad Kuber (19) was allegedly assaulted merely on suspicion of being a friend of Riyan. In this case, Ravi alias Takya Jadhav, Prem Chavan, and Siddharth Borde have been booked by Mukundwadi police.
