Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

Citizens from rural areas and tehsil levels often visit the District Collectorate with their complaints, resulting in a significant expenditure of their time, money, and energy. To address this issue, the district administration has launched the 'Zillaadhikari-Tehsil Dari' initiative.

Under this initiative, every Monday and Thursday, from 4 to 6 pm, the District Collector will hear grievances through video conferencing.

This programme will eliminate the need for citizens to visit the District Collectorate in person. Instead, they can directly communicate with the District Collector online at the tehsil level. This will make it easier for citizens to voice their complaints, and it is expected to expedite the resolution of these complaints. The initiative will be implemented across the entire district starting from Tuesday (April 1).

Officials have been instructed to prepare promptly for the effective implementation of this initiative. The primary goal is to hear grievances through video conferencing and resolve them immediately, ensuring more transparent services for the public. The initiative is expected to be particularly beneficial for the elderly and women, claimed the District Collector.
