Aurangabad, Nov 8:

The district has heaved a sigh of relief as the number of Corona patients is decreasing. The district is heading towards getting free from the Corona pandemic. However, the guidelines for getting free is that no patient or death should be reported in 28 consecutive days. Hence, the residents will have to wait for more time to get the district free from Corona.

The districts in the state were divided in red, orange and green zones according to the severity of the Corona. The district which has not a single Corona patient comes under green zone, less than 15 patients in orange and more than 15 patients in the red zone.

Aurangabad district got relief in October after seven months. In October, the patients reduced by 56 percent from September. On September 30, the total number of active patients was 5,211 while on November 7, it was only 712. Hence, the district is heading towards freedom from Corona. Still, it will have to wait for some time, as there should not be a single active patient and death in 28 days.
