Aurangabad, March 31:
Maharashtra Rajya Urdu Sahitya Akademi selected Dr A G Khan and Gauhar Aswad for their different books in Urdu.
The Akademi honours writers for the promotion of Urdu language and literature. The awards for the year 2019 were announced. Dr Khan selected for his book ‘Hasb-e-Muqaddar’ and Gauhar Aswad for ‘Gul Mansus’.
Also, the Akademi announced financial assistance to Syed Farooqu Ahmed’s book ‘Rooh-Ka-Darwaz.’
