Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar’s 135th birth anniversary was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy at Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU) on Tuesday.

The programme commenced with the Vice-Chancellor Dr Bindu S. Ronald, Registrar, Dr Dhanaji Jadhav, administrative officers, faculty members, staff, and students, offering floral tributes to the portrait of Dr Ambedkar.

Addressing the gathering, VC Dr Bindu Ronald highlighted that Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar brought about a great social revolution, and his contributions to education and the framing of the Constitution are invaluable to society.

“His message of equality, liberty, and fraternity continues to guide the nation, and it is our duty to uphold these values,” she added. Dr Dhanaji Jadhav also spoke. As per tradition, an “18-hour Study Initiative” was organised in the university library reading hall on Tuesday.
