Aurangabad, July 6:
Dr Bharati Balbhimrao Gore was appointed head of Hindi Department of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu).
First-time lady professor has become the department head during the last 60 years. Vice-chancellor Dr Pramod Yeole made this appointment for three years.
She has been in the field of teaching, writing and research for the past 20 years. He has written a collection of poetry, translated books and did critical appreciation of poetry. Dr Gore took charge of the post from his outgoing counterpart Dr Sudhakar Shendge on Tuesday.
