Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

If the woman of the house, who works for the family from early morning, becomes economically empowered, the entire family will develop. For that, a model should be developed in which women doing household work can work between 12 to 5, appealed higher and technical education minister Chandrakant Patil. He also urged initiatives like DIPEX to take the lead in this regard.

The bhumipoojan ceremony of the state-level ‘DIPEX-2026’, jointly organised by Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad and Srujan, was held at the hands of Chandrakant Patil at the premises of MIT College on Saturday. On this occasion, OBC welfare minister Atul Save, mayor Sameer Rajurkar, builder Rajendrasinh Jabinda, Srujan secretary Dr. Bharat Amalakar, entrepreneur Ram Bhogale, MIT director general Munish Sharma, ABVP Devgiri region president Dr. Suresh Mundhe, regional minister Dr. Varunraj Nannavare were present.

After the inauguration, minister Patil said, “Obtaining only a degree is not the final aim of education, but research, innovation and finding technology-based solutions to problems is the need of the time. Students in the state have immense potential. Such exhibitions provide direction to their ideas, a platform and connection with the industry sector. At the government level, we are committed to encouraging innovation and skill-based education.” Minister Atul Save also expressed his views. Dr. Bharat Amalakar explained the background of the organisation. The introductory address was delivered by Dr. Munish Sharma. The programme was compered by Dr. Varunraj Nannavare. The vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Suresh Mundhe.

Exhibition to be held from March 5 to 8

The ‘DIPEX-2026’ exhibition will be organised from March 5 to 8 at the premises of MIT College. It is an initiative aimed at strengthening coordination between the industrial and educational sectors, promoting research-based education and providing a state-level platform for students’ innovations. Through this medium, an effort will be made to encourage students’ entrepreneurship and startup culture.
