Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: After the examination centre of Hatnur's Rashtriya College was cancelled, the examinations of the students from that location were conducted smoothly at two centres in Kannad.

Director of the Board of Examination and Evaluation (BoEE) of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University Dr B N Dole said that additionally, the Principal of Rashtriya College would submit an action report to the Examination Department on April 23.

It may be noted that a question paper of the B.Com third year was leaked and went viral on social media.

During the preliminary probe, it was found that the paper was leaked at an examination centre of Rashtriya College in Hatnur (Kannad). The said paper's exam will be held afresh. Vice Chancellor Dr Vijay Fulari ordered the immediate and permanent cancellation of the examination centre and registration of a criminal case.

The examination for this subject paper will now be held on May 4. All students from this centre, starting from April 21, were shifted to another centre at Shivaji College and Sant Tukaram College in Kannad. A letter was sent online on Monday itself, directing the college's Principal to file a police complaint (FIR) within 48 hours against the concerned employee who downloaded the paper, and to submit a report to the university.

Furthermore, officials from the Examination Department, comprising Assistant Registrar Bhagwan Phad and Senior Assistant Mahendra Paithane, visited Dr M S Waghmare, Principal of Hatnur's Rashtriya Arts, Science and Commerce College, on Tuesday morning and served the university's notice. They were also informed to file a police complaint against those involved and to submit a complete action report to the university by April 23.

The concerned college has also set up an internal committee and launched an immediate inquiry.
