Aurangabad, May 17:

The leader of opposition in the legislative assembly, Devendra Fadnavis, today has dedicated Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Covid and Isolation Centre, built on Pundaliknagar Road, today morning. The centre has been set up by the MLA Atul Save through the CSR fund of his company.

The centre is equipped with 20-beds with Oxygen facilities and 30 isolation beds. Fadnavis inspected the whole centre and Save apprised him about all the facilities available for the patients.

While speaking to media persons, Fadnavis said," The Covid Care Centre is equipped with all facilities. There is a separate section for the treatment of women patients. The patients in large number would be recovering through the prompt treatment facilities provided at the centre. The BJP's national president had given the mantra - Seva Hech Sanghatan. Accordingly, the centre has been started with the same motto. The MP Dr Bhagwat Karad is also going to start a state-of-the-art Covid Care Centre for children. The work is underway. BJP had started the centres previously."

Former minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, national secretary Vijaya Rahatkar, former mayor Bhagwan Ghadamode, speaker Shirish Boralkar, Anil Makariye, Laxmikant Thete, Shivaji Dandge, Amruta Palodkar and others were present on the occasion.

Help to the government

In response to a question, Fadnavis said, " It is not that we are starting the centre as the government is falling short. Instead, we are extending help to the government."
