A family dispute erupted into a violent clash during a Kanduri feast programme in Karodi Shivar on May 12 evening, leading to cross complaints at the police station.

The programme was organised at the residence of Rajesh Bhosale (40,Karodi Gayran), where several relatives had gathered. However, an argument over a family dispute escalated into a free-style fight between two groups. According to Rajesh Bhosale’s complaint, Bhimsingh Pawar, Balwantsingh Pawar, Ajay Pawar, Rohit Chavan, Harichand Solanke, Rajveer Solanke and others allegedly assaulted him, his sons and son-in-law. He alleged that he was seriously injured after being hit on the head with sticks. Meanwhile, based on Ajay Pawar’s complaint, Rajesh Bhosale, Sohit Bhosale, Suraj Bhosale and others were accused of assault and issuing death threats. Daulatabad police station has registered cross cases against both groups and further investigation is underway.
