Youth killed, two injured in pickup-bike collision

A 20-year-old youth was killed and two others seriously injured after a motorcycle collided head-on with a pickup vehicle near the Pathri toll plaza on the Phulambri-Sillod highway on Thursday afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Balaji Jadhav of Pal village. His friends, Vishal Jadhav and Aditya Jadhav, sustained serious injuries and were admitted to a private hospital in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. Police said the trio was travelling towards Pathri when the accident occurred. Vadod Bazar police station has registered a case and further investigation is underway.
