Chhatrapati Sambbhajinagar

A five-year-old boy, Sairaj Mokasare, drowned in a water tank built for house construction in Jamunawadi on Saturday afternoon.

Sairaj went missing around 2 pm while playing in the courtyard of his under-construction home, where the family is temporarily staying in a tin shed. After a brief search, he was found submerged in the tank, which had been filled earlier that day. He was rushed to a local hospital, where doctors declared him dead. He is survived by his parents, brother and grandfather.
