Every individual must act in accordance with the Constitution to build a united nation. To keep the country united, it is essential to become constitutional-minded, said associate professor at M P. Law College, Shrikishan More.
He was speaking at a lecture on “Preservation and implementation of the Indian Constitution for national unity” organised on Tuesday at the Bajaj Teaching Complex of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. The programme was presided over by dean Dr Shivaji Sukre.
Among those present on the dais were Jayanti celebration committee coordinator Dr Bharat Sonawane, vice dean Dr Prabha Khaire, Dr Vinod Mundada, Dr Kashinath Garkal, Dr M. B. Lingayat, Dr Radheya Khetre, Dr Tapan Jakkal, matron Sanjeevani Gaikwad, ‘DAMA’ president Dr Samiksha Kamble, and secretary Dr Aditya Isave.
A diverse yet united India
Morey said India is home to people of different religions, languages and cultures. Despite this diversity, Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar shaped India into a united nation based on the principles of equality, liberty and fraternity.
