Aurangabad, April 18:

District Collector Sunil Chavan appealed to the people to follow the revised timings of the strict rules imposed for the prevention of the spread of the Corona pandemic rigorously.

He was speaking during a meeting organized for implementation of the strict rules imposed under the ‘Break the Chain’ initiative on Sunday. ZP CEO Dr Mangesh Gondavale, additional district collector Dr Anant Gavhane, resident deputy district collector Sanjeev Jadhavar, Food and Drug Administration joint commissioner Sanjay Kale, AMC medical officer Dr Neeta Padalkar, DCP Nikesh Khatmode and others were present.

The residents can go out of their house for purchasing grocery, vegetable, petrol and other permitted articles between 7 am and 1 pm. However, they should not come out of the house unnecessarily, Chavan appealed.

The fruits vendors have been allowed to purchase fruits during 5 pm and 8 pm period for Muslim brethren due to Ramzan.

He also directed the health machinery to provide Remdesivir injection to the serious patients as per requirement and the information about it should be provided to the district administration. The private hospitals should make an application for the demand of the Remdesivir Injections to the district administration, Chavan mentioned.
