A fox fell into a 30-foot-deep well at Beldari Tanda in the Kherda area while searching for water amid intense summer heat, remaining trapped for several hours. The forest department, along with members of the Man with Indies Foundation, carried out a swift and careful rescue operation.

Despite the challenge of lifting the animal from the dark well, the team safely brought it out without injury. A preliminary medical check-up confirmed the fox was healthy, after which it was released into its natural habitat.

The operation was conducted by rescue team members Ashish Joshi, Harsh Keware, Ritesh Phandade and Advait Chandradre of Man with Indies Foundation, along with Amina Shaikh and Vikas Rathod from the forest department. With rising temperatures and water scarcity pushing wildlife towards human settlements, authorities have urged citizens to stay calm and alert the forest department or rescue teams in such situations.
