Aurangabad, Jan 25:

Here is good news for new voters (electors), who had registered their names and mobile numbers during November and December 2020, as the Election Commission, has introduced a facility to download the e-EPIC (Electronic Electoral Photo Identity Card) between January 25 and 31.

" The new voters can download the e-EPIC by simply authenticating their mobile number from January 25 to 31, while the download facility of e-EPIC for general voters will be available from February 1," said the deputy collector (election branch) Bharat Kadam adding that the voters can download their e-copy on mobile phones or personal computers.

The registration process can be done by visiting the website https://voterportal.eci.gov.in. After filling the online information, you will receive an OTP on your registered mobile phone number, and after its insertion, one can view the PDF copy. Just click on download e-EPIC option and get your electronic version of voter identity card, it is learnt.

The general voters can also have their e-EPIC from February 1 provided they had registered their mobile number (if they had not done so) online.
