Aurangabad, May 12:

The Waluj MIDC police on Wednesday booked a youth on the charges of sexually exploiting a girl on the pretext of marrying her after they met on the facebook.

A 25 years old girl from Bajajnagar works at Bhandup, Mumbai to look after children. Two years back, she met Rohan Rajendra Khajekar (Ramnagar, Aurangabad) on Facebook. Later, they developed intimate relations and Rohan used to frequently call her on phone. Meanwhile, on June 29, 2019 went to Andheri, Mumbai to meet her. He told her that he want to marry her. He told about her to his mother and she also called her on phone on various occasions. As they planned for marriage, she started sending around Rs 10,000 to Rs 12,000 per month on Rohan’s account since 2019 for planning their future. Later, they decided to marry in the court on April 15.

On March 19, 2021, Rohan established physical relation with her at her house at Bajajnagar. Later, on March 25, he met her at Bajajnagar and told her that he is not willing to marry her. He abused and also beat her. When realized that she had been cheated, she lodged a complaint at the Waluj MIDC police station. A case of cheating and rape has been registered against Rohan while PSI Prashant Gambhirrao under the guidance of PI Madhukar Sawant is further investigating the case.
