Grief at GMCH as Samruddhi crash victim’s body reaches hospital

Ganesh Kasare died in a horrific accident on the Samruddhi Expressway. His body was brought to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) on Friday at 3 pm. Three workers died in the same accident.

The scene at the hospital

When Ganesh's family arrived at the hospital, they were devastated. His father, brother, and other relatives rushed to see him. The moment they saw the body, they broke down in grief. Crying uncontrollably, they wailed, "Give our Ganesh back…" Their cries left the hospital premises shaken for several minutes. Patients' relatives, hospital staff, and bystanders were visibly moved by the scene. Some tried to console the grieving family.
