Cases of extortion and hooliganism in Waluj Industrial Estate are on the rise, leaving local entrepreneurs deeply troubled. Maharashtra Security Industries Association (MASSIA) president Chetan Raut stated that rampant goon culture is making it difficult to run businesses in Waluj and that entrepreneurs must be freed from these problems.

Entrepreneur Rahul Mogle also emphasized the need for strict action against those harassing businesses, stating that even private security guards are not feared by these hooligans, creating an environment of insecurity in the industrial sector. As a result, business owners in Waluj are strongly demanding the establishment of an independent police station. A delegation of entrepreneurs from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar has submitted a petition to the District Collector regarding this demand. Meanwhile, in a high-level meeting at Auric on Saturday, convened as per Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’s directives, officials discussed challenges faced by investors, entrepreneurs and government projects. MASSIA President Chetan Raut presented the entrepreneurs' grievances.
