My father, Mohammad Hafeezuddin, started Health Studio MBC Gym in City Chowk in the city in 1974. He also invented equipment called ‘power riser'. It was kept in an exhibition held at Hyderbad and received the first prize. It became the talk of the town everywhere. In 1975, during his visit to the city, Dilip Kumar visited the Gym in the City Chowk area. He was very impressed by this modernized Gym and said that such an equipped gym is not even in Mumbai. Hafeezuddin demonstrated the power riser instrument. He inspected the equipment and also used it here. He also invited the director to open a branch in Mumbai.
