Indian democracy has principle of balanced power: Dr Ajay Ambekar

Aurangabad, May 22:

“There is a balanced power among three pillars-legislature, executive and judiciary of our democracy,” said Ajay Ambekar, former director at Directorate General of Information and Public Relations Department.

He was speaking in an online lecture on ‘Public and Good Governance’ organised by Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu) on Saturday.

Vice-chancellor Dr Pramod Yeole presided. Dr Ajay Ambekar said that Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar made provisions in the ‘Constitution’ after a lot of much consideration and thinking.

“The pillars of democracy were given powers in ‘Checks and Balances’ in a balanced way. Because of this, our democracy is strong even after seven decades years of Independence,” he added.

Jyoti Ambekar speaking on ‘Effective Communication Skills’, said that the language changes every few kilometres.

“One should do the practice of one’s voice, pronunciation and presentation for making effective personally,” she added.

VC Dr Pramod Yeole aid that man learns throughout life throughout his life. “A man who learns through experience makes changes in his/herself and develop personality,” he addd.

Coordinator of the lecture series Sanjay Shinde said that the next would be delivered by the director of Medical Education and Research Padmashri Dr Tatyarao Lahane, on May 29.
