Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

Syed Ishrat Jahan, wife of Syed Mufeezuddin Syed Alauddin, died of a brief illness on Sunday. She was 47.

Her Namaz-e-Janaza was prayed at Jama Masjid in Buddi Lane on Sunday morning while the burial took place in the graveyard on the mosque campus.

She is survived by her husband and three daughters.
