Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: “While progressing in life, one must accept constructive criticism and keep learning from every experience, without letting any opportunity slip,” said Rajnandini Pawar, the first Runner-Up of the Femina Miss India competition.

She was speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the 'Kaleidoscope 2026' Fashion Show, organised by the Leonardo da Vinci School of Design of MGM University at the Rukmini Auditorium on Sunday.

MGM University Chancellor Ankushrao Kadam, Vice-Chancellor Dr Vilas Sapkal, Registrar Dr Ashish Gadekar, judges Nilesh Gham and Anvita Aggarwal, Director Shubha Mahajan and others were present.

A total of 20 students from the final year B.Design (Fashion Design) course and 12 students from the Advanced Diploma and Certificate courses of the school participated in it.

The students presented a total of diverse and attractive garments. Aditi Sharma and Amna conducted the proceedings of the programme. Rajnandini Pawar said that each one of us has a dream in our heart, and to fulfil those dreams, the support of family, especially parents, is extremely important.

“With the right support system, any height can be achieved. This (university) is a place to dream and to make those dreams a reality. Inspired by the thought that 'my roots are my strength,' it is essential to move forward while staying connected to one's roots,” she added. VC Dr Vilas Sapkal said, “Dreams are not just to be seen, they must be seen with open eyes and pursued with hard work to make them a reality.
