As the water of nullah entres his house in the rainy season, he kept Rs 48,000 and his Aadhar Card and his son’s educational documents and Aadhar Card in a plastic carry bag to avoid damage from s water.

He hung the plastic bag to an electricity switchboard which had a spark on Sunday afternoon due to a short circuit.

Talking to this newspaper, Vinayak said that he had saved money by doing works like daily wage labourer on garbage collection ‘Ghanta Gadi.’

“I kept money and documents at safe place considering rainwater. But, all of them burnt,” he added.
