Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

Lakshman Vithoba More, a local laundry operator, has set a remarkable example by combining his livelihood with a spirit of national service. For the past 37 years, he has been ironing the national flags of all schools, colleges, and government offices in the Vihamandwa area (in Paithan tehsil), completely free of charge.

From a young age, More aspired to serve the nation through government service. However, due to limited financial resources at home, he was unable to complete his education. To support his family, he took up the ancestral laundry business. Despite this, he remained committed to expressing his patriotism by dedicating his services to the national flag on important occasions such as Independence Day (August 15), Republic Day (January 26), Marathwada Muktisangram Din (September 17), and Maharashtra Day (May 1).

His selfless act of devotion to the nation has earned widespread appreciation across the region.
