Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

A man was allegedly assaulted and attacked with a sickle by two persons holding a grudge against him for intervening in a dispute. The incident occurred in the Hussain Masjid area of Sajapur. MIDC Waluj police have registered a case against the accused.

According to the complaint filed by Akbar Shaikh, the accused were angered because he had earlier intervened to settle a quarrel. They allegedly abused and assaulted him, during which Mohsin attacked him with a fish-cutting sickle, injuring his left wrist. The accused have been identified as Mohsin alias Babbu Manwar and Chetan Gaikwad, both residents of Sajapur. Further investigation is underway.
