Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis applauded OBC Welfare Minister and election in-charge Atul Save for the party’s impressive win in the municipal elections on Saturday. Save met the Chief Minister in Mumbai today. While praising him, the CM congratulated the entire BJP team, noting that after the city was renamed Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, the first mayor would be from the BJP. He also highlighted that the party had set a record by securing a majority in the municipal corporation and instructed Minister Sāve to continue working to break further records in future elections.

Speaking to Lokmat Times , Minister Sāve said that while the municipal elections are behind, the work for the upcoming district council and panchayat committee elections will begin from Sunday. He has already issued instructions to the party’s full team in the district. Sāve expressed confidence that BJP’s winning streak would continue in the Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti polls as well.

Winning councillors meet leaders

The victorious municipal councillors met BJP leaders in the city to seek blessings. Party leaders welcomed the newly elected councillors, and discussions were held about various election experiences between leaders and councillors.
