Aurangabad, Nov 24: Members of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) threw torn electricity bills on chief engineering of Mahaveetran Bhujang Khandare on Tuesday in protest against the State Government’s failure to take any decision on inflated bills.

It may be noted that MNS chief Raj Thackeray submitted a memorandum to Governor Bhagatsingh Koshyari stating about exhorbitant electricity bills. Raj Thackeray demanded waiver in the bills of lockdown period.

He had given an ultimatum to the Government until last Monday, yet, no decision was taken. Upset over this, MNS leaders sought an answer from Bhujang Khandare. MNS district chief Suhas Dashrathe tore electricity bills before the engineering and threw them at him. Its city president Satnamsingh Gulati, Raju Khare, Namdev Bendre, Sandeep Kulkarni and others were present. The party will take out ‘Dhadak Morcha’ to the district collector office on November 26. Suhas Dashrathe and Gulati appealed to all to participate in the agitation.
