Molestation of minor girl;

Sameer Shaikh Rasool Shaikh (23, resident of Hussain Colony), who repeatedly stalked and molested a minor girl, was remanded to police custody until February 19th by judge A.R. Ubale of the Special Court for Atrocity Cases on Tuesday.

According to the complaint filed by the minor girl, who is a Class 12 student, the accused, Sameer, had repeatedly stalked and molested her between December 2025 and February 16, 2026. Based on the girl's complaint, a case was registered at the MIDC Police Station under various sections of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Atrocities Act.

When the accused was produced in court on Tuesday, special public prosecutor Kailas Narayan Pawar presented the arguments for the state.
