National conference on impact of English literature on IKS concludes

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

The two-day national conference on the impact of English literature on the Indian Knowledge System (IKS), jointly organised by Deogiri College and Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University

was concluded recently.

Dwarkadas Pathrikar inaugurated the conference. Ankushrao Kadam, Chancellor of MGM University, was present as the chief guest.

Dr Prahlad Lulekar was present as the chief guest for the concluding programme of this conference. Principal of the college, Dr Ravi Patil, presided over the function.

Vice-Principal Dr Ganesh Mohite, chief convener of the conference and head of the English Department Dr Nanda Deshmukh, Dr Samita Jadhav and Dr Sulakshana Jadhav were also seated on the platform.

Dr Pralhad Lulekar said that the Indian knowledge system (IKS) is secular, but this secular philosophy did not find royal protection.

Dr Mathura Mewad proposed a vote of thanks. Dr Anand Ubale, Dr Sudhakar Shendge, Dr Ramchandra Kalunkhe and others guided the participants.
