Nikhil Kakde submits NEET-UG refund memorandum
Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar
Youth leader Nikhil Kakde submitted a memorandum to deputy collector Anagha Govindrao Rathod, seeking transparency in the NEET-UG refund process. The memorandum raised concerns over students from rural and economically weaker backgrounds who paid application fees through cyber cafes using third-party UPI IDs. It demanded direct refund transfers to verified student bank accounts, strict monitoring of cyber cafes, and a dedicated grievance helpline for affected students. Over 15,000 students from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar appeared for the examination this year.
