Aurangabad, June 26:
Notorious goon Adil Chaus after staying for a year in the prison under Maharashtra Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Slumdogs, Bootleggers and Video pirates Act (MPDA), with his accomplice, robbed a man at knife-point at Shahbazar on June 25 evening. The City Chowk police have arrested both the accused, including his accomplice Takdum Hussain Idris (both Shah Bazar). Chaus had spread panic among the Shah Bazar, Chelipura and City Chowk area residents with his dangerous activities. The commissioner of police took action against him and sent him to prison under the MPDA Act. He was released from the prison three months back and started his illegal activities again. He and his friend Takdum robbed Illiyas Hussain Ajmat Hussain (36, Kanchiwada) of Rs 1,700 on a knife-point. Illiyas later lodged a complainant at the City Chowk police station and the police arrested both the accused.
