Now, aptitude tests & career counselling available at MCC

Chhatrapati Sambahjinagar: Now, career counselling, psychometric test, skill assessment, aptitude test and skills training facilities are available at the Model Career Center (MCC) for the students of the district.

The MCC works under the District Skill Development, Employment and Entrepreneurship Guidance Center (DSDEEGC). Dr Anil Jadhav, the senior consultant and counsellor from MCC said the MCC connects local youth and other job-seekers with all possible job opportunities in a transparent and effective manner through the use of technology as well as through counselling and training.

“The Centre offers various services to the youths including career counselling, skills assessment and aptitude test, job and vacancy postings. The Centres will assess effectively and continuously demand of skills in labour markets, local in other States and abroad,” he added.

He said that the Centre Government is now giving increased focus on career counselling through national career services (NCS) to enable for our aspiring youth to pursue the right career choice according to their aptitude. “It has a vision to develop MCC as a real exchange platform for job seekers and providers,” he added.
