Aurangabad, Nov 12:

Nearly 953 students from the district passed of 5th and 8th classes scholarship examinations on Thursday. It may be noted that the Maharashtra State Council of Examinations (MSCE) conducted the scholarship examinations across the State on February 16. The interim result was declared last month.

The Council announced the final result today. As many as 25,353 students of 5th class from 2,086 schools took the examinations in the district while 6,442 of passed. Nearly 488 students were declared eligible for the scholarship. Similarly, 19,598 students of standard eight from 1083 schools appeared for the examinations.

Over 2200 passed it while 465 are eligible for the scholarship. Shlok Baheti from Podar International School secured the fourth rank from State level merit list of Council for India School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) and Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), 5th class aspirants, while Yashraj Gadia from Tender Care Home is on eighth place.

Arya Chavan from Nath Valley school received 12th rank. In eight class group from the rural area, Prajaval Sanjay Patil from Mahatma Jyotiba Phule High School (Pishor, Kannad) got 11th rank in the State merit list. In the CBSE category, Sarthak Zol from Dyanda School obtained the seventh rank and Venkatesh Thote is on 10th place in the merit list.
