Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: There was a tight vigil in and around HSC examination centres in the district on Tuesday, on the first paper. Though students were attempting the examinations, parents were seen worried outside the centres.

The Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar division of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) held the first paper at 161 centres in the district from 11 am to 2 pm. There were flying squads, and sitting squads from various departments to curb malpractice during the examinations. No one, except the teachers and staff of examination, were allowed to enter the centres. Parents who were standing outside the centres were seen discussing the difficulty level of the English subject paper.
