A peace committee meeting was held on Friday at MIDC Waluj Police Station to ensure a smooth and inclusive celebration of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar's birth anniversary.

ACP Sanjay Sanap urged replacing DJs in processions with informative sessions about Dr. Ambedkar and promoting the distribution of books on his life and thoughts. PI Rameshwar Gade stressed maintaining law and order during the celebrations. He advised lighting up statue areas, avoiding power cuts, and ensuring the safety and comfort of women and children. PSI Ajay Shitole, Ramesh Rathod, Sandeep Wahak, Constable Pandurang Shelke, Fire Officer Anil Deshmukh, Assistant PI Manoj Shinde, Gram Panchayat Officer Bhimrao Bhalerao, and local citizens including Ramesh Mule, Yogesh Shelke, and Vikram Wagh attended the meeting.
