Aurangabad, Nov 21:

A pedestrian died after a dash by an unidentified vehicle at Pandharpur on Friday midnight. The deceased has been identified as Vasant Punjaram Sable (42, Waladgaon).

Sable was going from Pundharpur to Waladgaon. A speedy vehicle coming from Aurangabad and going towards Nagar dashed him near Shri Vitthal – Rukhmini temple at Pandharpur. He was severely injured and fell on the road. The police, on receiving the information, rushed to the spot and informed Sable’s relatives. He was taken to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) where the doctors declared him dead after the examination. A case has been registered at the Waluj MIDC police station while PSI Rajendra Bangar is further investigating the case.
