Aurangabad, April 5:

The power supply of over 1500 consumers was discontinued after the underground cable of Mahaveetran was broken at Ramanagar area at 3 pm on Monday while digging.

According to details, the land was digging was being done through poclain.

Assistant engineer of Mahaveetan Sushil Deokar and Kranti Chowk Branch's technical staff of the company restored power supply of Paithan, Sille-Khana, Sanmitra Colony Chota Takiya areas at 9.30 pm by working on war-footing.

The power supply of some residents of Ramanagar and Adalat Road was also resumed. The electricity company lodged a complaint with Osmapura Police Station against the driver of poclain
