The Golatgaon zilla parishad group (gat), long regarded as a Congress stronghold, had earlier allotted from the Maha Vikas Aghadi to the Uddhav Sena. As a result, for the first time since the formation of the zilla parishad group (gat), Congress had to step aside. Taking advantage of this opening, the Prahar Janshakti Party fielded Jyoti Sudhakar Shinde, wife of district president Sudhakar Shinde, as its candidate for the first time in this group. Jyoti Shinde registered a decisive victory by a margin of 10,198 votes. BJP candidate Reena Sanjay Golwal finished second with 7,786 votes, while the Uddhav Sena candidate stood third.

The Golatgaon zilla parishad group (gat) and panchayat samiti gan were reserved for OBC women, while the Ghade Jalgaon panchayat samiti gan was reserved for women from the general category. In the Golatgaon zilla parishad group (gat), Reena Sanjay Golwal (BJP), Vaishali Ashok Shinde (Uddhav Sena), Jyoti Sudhakar Shinde (Prahar) and Shobha Kalyan Ghodke (NCP–Ajit Pawar faction) were in the fray, making it a triangular contest.

Meanwhile, in the Golatgaon panchayat samiti gan, Prahar candidate Pushpa Ankush Salunke also secured victory for the first time with 4,129 votes. The Ghade Jalgaon panchayat samiti gan was retained by the Uddhav Sena, where Gayabai Shankar Thombre won for the second time with 4,225 votes.

With victories in both the Golatgaon group and gan, the Prahar Janshakti Party has marked its first entry into district politics. Jyoti Shinde won the zilla parishad group seat, while Pushpa Ankush Salunke emerged victorious in the Golatgaon panchayat samiti gan.
