Aurangabad, June 20:
The Aurangabad Railway Station has got several facility during the Corona pandemic phase. All the five platforms at the station have been linked with the escalators and hence the passengers will not have to walk on the bridges to go to the other platforms. Similarly, the holes on the platform - 4 have been repaired.
Two escalators were already available for the passengers to go to platform - 1, 2 and 3. Similarly, lift was also available for the passengers. However, escalator was not available for the platform 4 and 5. Now, the passengers for these platforms will not have to walk on the steps. Now, the escalators have been made available here. It will be convenient for the handicap, senior citizens and the tourists.
Deccan Odyssy comes on Platform 4 and 5, but there were many holes on the platform. Now, the repairing work of the platform 4 has been completed and the holes have been closed while now a lift is also being installed here.
