The district police administration has transferred six police inspectors and assistant inspectors as part of a reshuffle in police station in-charges. One inspector has also been shifted to the control room. Superintendent of Police Dr Vinay kumar Rathod issued the transfer orders on Wednesday night.

Rajendra Anand Bansode, who had recently been promoted as Police Inspector and transferred from the city police force to the district police force, has been appointed as the in-charge of Chikalthana Police Station. Prashant Mahajan, who was serving in the police welfare branch, has been posted as the in-charge of Khultabad Police Station. Former Chikalthana police station in-charge Ravikiran Darwade has been transferred to the cyber police station, while Khultabad police inspector Dhananjay Farate has been shifted to the Police Welfare Branch. Phulambri police inspector Sanjay Sahane has been transferred to the control room. Meanwhile, Assistant Inspector Pratap Navghare, who had earlier handled charge of Karmad police station and was recently shifted to the control room, has now been appointed as the in-charge of Phulambri police station.
