Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: A total of 1,524 pending and pre-litigation cases were settled, with a recovered amount of over Rs 23.32 crore at the National Lok Adalat organised by the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), on the directions of the National Legal Services Authority and the State Legal Services Authority on Saturday.

The National Lok Adalat was held under the chairmanship of DLSA President Girish Agarwal. Representatives from various government departments, electricity companies, legal professionals, government advocates, and financial institutions participated.

Of the 1,524 cases settled, 1,471 were pending cases and 53 were pre-litigation.

The pending cases accounted for a recovery of more than Rs 22 crore while the pre-litigation cases yielded Rs 1.32 crore, bringing the total to Rs 23.32 crore.
