Rs 43 Cr spent on over 6.3 K Maratha youths of M’wada in 5-yr

Chhatrapati Sambahjinagar: More than 6,300 boys and girls from the Maratha community of Marathwada have benefited from different projects of Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Institute for Research, Training and Human Development (SARTHI) since 2018.

SARTHI was established for the boys and girls of the Maratha community and has claimed that the government has spent approximately Rs 43.81 crore on research fellowship, skills development training, personality development and computer training.

The figures are of five years and efforts will be made by the district administration along with the social justice department to increase the number of beneficiaries of SARTHI on village, tehsil and level. The institute was established around 10 years while the government supported it since 2018. As a result, the needy boys and girls of the Maratha community are benefiting from it.
