The Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE) declared the result of school scholarships examinations on Friday evening.

It may be noted that thousands of students had been waiting for the scholarship examination result for the past eight months. The scholarship examinations were conducted on February 16 for the fifth and eight standard students. The answer key was also released on March 4. Students were allowed to submit objection about answer key between March 4 and 13.

The MSCE cleared 2,310 online objections including 982 about answer key of from fifth standard papers. There was a staff crunch in the office of the Council. The final answer key was released on June 12 after discussions with subjects experts through an online meeting. However, the result was not declared for the past eight months.

The Council announced the interim result last evening. The candidates can see their result by clicking on the website of the council or the link (https://puppss.mscescholarshipexam.in).

The students can apply for recounting of marks or correction in names and other details through their school up to October 20. The result of recounting will be declared after a month.

Akhil Bhartiya Urdu Shikshak Sangh which requested the Examination Council recently to declare the result welcomed the decision.
