Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Scholarships will be provided to 40 meritorious Scheduled Tribe (ST) students for higher education abroad. The Tribal Development Department has issued the notification stating that applications submitted through any medium other than online would not be considered.

For the academic year 2026–27, this scholarship scheme will be implemented for Postgraduate Diploma, PG and PhD programmes. Online applications are being invited from eligible students who have secured admission or wish to seek admission to reputed foreign universities.

Under this scheme, the foreign university must be within the top 200 QS ranking. Selection will be made entirely based on merit.

The applicant must belong to an ST from the State and must submit a caste validity certificate from a competent authority. The family income of the candidate will be considered, and if the candidate is employed, their own income will also be taken into account.

The combined annual family income in the previous financial year must not exceed Rs 8 lakh. Detailed information regarding the scheme's terms and conditions, eligibility, age limit, educational qualifications, benefits, and selection process is available on the official website of the Tribal Development Department.
