In a bid to strengthen industrial security, a high-level meeting was held at Auric Hall in DMIC on Thursday, chaired by SP Vinay kumar Rathod. The meeting brought together industrialists, company directors and senior police officials to address pressing issues related to worker safety, traffic congestion, and law enforcement in Shendra MIDC.

With growing industrial activities in the region, concerns over employee security, traffic bottlenecks, and crime prevention have escalated. Officials discussed measures to improve surveillance, deploy more security personnel, and streamline traffic flow, particularly at Kumbhephal Main Chowk, a known congestion hotspot. The need for CCTV cameras and streetlights in key areas was also emphasized, ensuring enhanced safety for businesses and workers alike. SP Rathod assured industrialists of swift action against security threats and urged companies to cooperate with law enforcement in maintaining a safe environment. Among those present were Auric Management Department’s project head Arun Dubey, shendra MIDC federation president Milind Patil, additional SP Sunil Lanjewar, SDPO Pooja Nangre along with senior police officials from Chikalthana and Karmad police stations. The meeting concluded with a commitment to stronger security protocols and a proactive approach to resolving industrial safety concerns.
