Aurangabad, Nov 21:

The administration of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University has postponed Senate meeting for over a month.

Chancellor of the universities and governor has fixed the meeting on November 26 as per section 28 (4) of Maharashtra Public Universities Act 2016. He postponed it due to some reasons. The meeting will be organised at Main Auditorium of the university, at 11 am, on December 28. The Senate is the most powerful authority of the university.

There are nearly 100 members in Bamu elected through different categories, including teachers, graduates, college management representatives and principals. Bamu appealed to all members to take note of it.
